Accreditation Questions, Answered
RM Lash Academy accreditation is AUD 250 and covers a full 12 months. There are no additional fees for the review itself.
You do not. We accredit educators trained anywhere, as long as you hold a lash educator certificate, have completed Classic and Volume training, and have your own Classic and Volume presentations and manuals.
Once we receive your certificates and teaching materials, your accreditation is reviewed and confirmed within 1–2 weeks.
Your accreditation certificate is valid for 12 months. After that it is renewed, so the standard behind the badge stays current.
We will tell you exactly what is missing and ask you to resubmit those parts. Please note that the accreditation fee is non-refundable.
Lash accreditation is a voluntary review in which an established academy or association examines a lash educator's qualifications, teaching materials and standards, then formally recognises them. It is issued by private bodies rather than governments, so it is a mark of professional standing, not a legal permit.
No. Where your state or country requires a licence to work on paying clients, accreditation does not substitute for it. Accreditation speaks to teaching standards; licensing is a legal requirement set by your local authority. If both apply where you work, you need both.
At RM we ask for your lash educator certificate, confirmation that you have completed Classic and Volume training, and your own Classic and Volume presentations and manuals. We read the material you hand your students and check whether it is accurate, complete and safe to teach from. If something is missing, we tell you exactly what to resubmit.
Accreditation is issued by private organisations, so there is no single global register the way there is for a driving licence. What travels is the standing of the body behind it and the evidence you can show a student. RM accredited trainers teach across Europe, Australia and New Zealand, North America and Asia.
Students rarely have a way to judge a course before they pay for it. Accreditation gives them an independent party that has looked at your materials and agreed they meet a standard, which makes your course easier to trust and easier to choose over an unverified one.
